Our goal with Sonic Moves is to provide a platform and a playground for the emerging medium of body-interactive audio. We finally have the technology in our hands to create body-interactive sound for everyday devices. Our apps facilitate a new connection between artists and audiences that blurs the border between creation and experience.
Marc-André Weibezahn is the founder, developer and designer of Sonic Moves. We are a small, independent team with many years of experience in interaction design, sound, and performance. Along the way, we’ve been fortunate to receive support from an inspiring network of experts and artists—as well as public funding institutions such as the City of Leipzig and the Federal State of Saxony, for which we are truly grateful.
